Einstein And Spinoza's God
Einstein said the universe is ever expanding
That everybody remembers even school children.
He also said in a letter that there is certainly no god
(Written to jewish philosopher friend Eric Gutkind)
That offered us rewards and meted out punishments.
Though Einstein believed in Spinoza's god---Nature!
He refused to accept god as his personal saviour
But didn't denounce either god or religion
Unwilling to undermine other people's faiths.
