Sadashiva Panicker's Day With The Godmen
"Daddy! Daddy!"
Sadashiva Panicker tried to pretend to be rather serious quickly glancing at the notebook lying before him on the table and strangely muttering to convince his inquisitive son that he was exceptionally busy.
Kishore looked at his father's face searching for an answer.
"Daddy! Tell me no? Who is a godman?"
"Okay! Okay! I'll tell you." Panicker planned an idea to escape his pestering son.
"C'mon! Tell me who is god!"
Pat came the reply vexing the boy's father.
" The one who made us all!"
"Well, the godmen are god's men!"
Then came the next question.
"Is god good?"
Glancing through the notebook Panicker remarked:
"Son! God is pure!"
"What about godmen?"
"They too!"
Kishore showed the day's newspaper photo page to his father.
"Look! Santosh Madhavan! Is he pure too?"
The perplexed Panicker got up and said:
" I've to go to office!"
Kishore quipped:
"But mummy says you have taken an off today!"
